Grote Zhangzhou schotel op voetring, smalle platte rand. Versierd in onderglazuur blauw. Op het plat een geschulpt medaillon met twee draken die een vlammende parel najagen temidden van wolkmotieven. De rand/wand is ingedeeld in brede vakken met bloeiende planten, afgewisseld door smalle vakken met schubwerk en een klein medaillon met een bloempje. De buitenkant met twee ranken. Grijs-witte gecraqueleerde glazuur; op de voetring is ovenzand aangebakken. De compositie van deze schotel volgt die van het kraak porselein met zijn brede en smalle vakindeling op de wand/rand en de invulling van de vakken met bloemtakken. Het centrale motief van de twee draken komt op kraak porselein echter zelden voor en is nog aan export porselein uit de 2e helft van de 16e eeuw ontleend.

The rim and sides are divided into wide panels with flowering plants alternating with narrow panels with a fish-scale pattern and a small medallion with a little flower. The outside with two scrolls. Greyish-white crackled glaze. Kiln-sand adhering to the footring. The composition of this dish follows that of kraak porcelain with its alternating wide and narrow panels on the rim and sides and the panels filled with flower sprays. However, the central motif of two dragons is rarely seen on kraak ware and is derived from export porcelain of the second half of the 16th century.
