Kendi on a short foot with a glazed base. The round sides with a bulbous spout, the cylindrical neck with an overturned rim. The sides with a landscape with pavilions, rocks, trees and clouds. The shoulder with a broad blue band and a striped one. The neck with tulip motifs separated by symbols, the rim and the spout with cloud motifs.
This kendi is decorated in Chinese Transitional style with a continuous landscape on the body and tulips on the neck. Related kendis are in several collections. This one was collected in Indonesia.
