A small, deep so-called crow cup bowl, with an everted scalloped rim, the footring narrowing to its base. Vertical ribs on the sides resulting from the bowl being shaped in a mould. Decorated in underglaze blue (cobalt blue). On the outside horizontal lines round the mouthrim and lower body, three lines round the footring. The sides divided into six wide and six very narrow panels by twelve vertical lines. In three wide panels a small bird by plants in a riverscape, in the other three wide panels bamboo. In the narrow panels bows. On the inside six wide panels with delicate flower sprays and six narrow panels with dots. In the centre a small bird on a rock.
