Cup on a footring with a slightly everted, scalloped rim. In the centre a bird on a rock with foliage. Above the bird a semicircle representing the moon. On the inside of the sides two peach branches. On the outside of the sides a continuous representation of a riverscape with flower sprays, foliage and birds, one perched on a rock, another two approaching in flight.
These birds were seen as crows in the West, hence the name crow cup. They are probably not crows, but magpies, which were believed to bring good luck.
