Description
Klapmuts bowl, with a central decoration comprising a square panel filled with a banana leaf, two flywhisks, a ruyi and two scrolls. Between the central decoration and the rim geometric trelliswork. On the inside four wide panels, each with an oval panel alternately filled with a scroll and flowers and leaves. In the narrow panels a pointed leaf flanked by two narrow leaves. The rim similarly panelled. In the wide panels four half-circles filled with peaches and pomegrantes, trelliswork between the panels. On the outside four wide panels with an oval panel containing a peach motif and four narrow panels with bandwork. On the reverse of the rim four stylised flower scrolls.
