Description

Large deep Chinese Kraak porcelain dish on a footring. Wide sloping sides. Kiln-sand adhering to the footring on the base. In the centre a cool blue decoration of ducks and lotus plants. The rim is divided into eight panels, four with a flowering plant and four with, respectively, a shell, a leaf, scrolls and a parasol. On the reverse of the rim eight panels with large circles.
